Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The burger was put together nicely instead of being smashed inside the wrapper. Service was friendly and straightforward. Left completely satisfied.

My fries were hot and crispy when they came out too. Service was pretty quick even though they had a decent crowd. Really enjoyed my meal.

- SSSYSReturnAug 28, 20261.0Drive thru, online order. Standard single meal order, nothing fancy (not breakfast). Arrive 15 minutes after placing order. Not done yet, they tell me to go in the lobby. I check in, and I have to ask them where my order is for 30 additional minutes until it is done. Most of the staff are very young, and needed constant reminding to make my food. This was a pain, and not fast food at all. I will NEVER be returning here. What a waste of time and money. Operation lacks any discipline and the staff are fearful of the deep fryer.

The fries were slightly softer than they probably would have been fresh in the restaurant, but they still tasted good. The burger had plenty of sauce and the bun was soft. Pretty convenient experience and exactly what I needed that evening.
