Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My family are big Whataburger fans, which made this even more frustrating because this was definitely not the Whataburger standard we’re used to. The burger was extremely greasy both the meat and the bun felt like they had been dipped in oil. On top of that, part of the patty was undercooked, which is a major concern. We understand it’s fast food, but food still needs to be properly cooked and prepared. Honestly, thanks to Ball Park sesame buns I had at home, I was at least able to recover from Whataburger’s soggy, greasy bun. The customer service was okay, but everything felt rushed, and it wasn’t clear why since there were only a few cars in line at the time. I’d strongly recommend retraining for both the cooking and assembly team. The fact that this went through multiple hands and was still served this way is concerning for this location.

We sat in line and they asked us to move up and they would bring our order out to us. After 20 min I had to go in to my food just sitting there. I asked to speak to the manager, Emmanuel comes us just as lazy and nonchalant as if I was disturbing him. I told him that I've been here for 30 mins waiting for a number 2 and a 3 piece chicken tender meal. He turned around put fries in a bag and said here you go. Not sorry or here is something for the inconvenience! Nothing. I can tell you 2 things I'll never come to this Whataburger location again and I'll be giving corporate a call. Ill make time ! They might need to be drug tested in here to be honest.
