  I finally went back to Sushi Friend and tried the seared salmon Kiro roll and unagi don which were fresh and solid overall even if a couple flavors leaned a bit too sour or salty for my taste. The place feels more spacious now with easy parking, friendly staff and consistent food.

  To elaborate and be fair. The people were friendly, but there really isn’t any “service” per se. The atmosphere was like a street restaurant in a third world country. More of a shell of a container box. It was serve yourself basically yet without instruction. I felt the sushi was as good as I can get at the groceries store. And as expensive as I get at sushi brokers. Limited sushi menu.

  Exceptional food and even more exceptional service. After a difficult hospital situation, decided to stop by on way home ..Hershey made sure we were cared for with kindness and compassion. The quality of the food and the level of attention provided truly exceeded expectations. We are very grateful.

  Very disappointed. Was sushi good, yes. This is a hole in the wall dive bar atmosphere. You prder immediately from an eletronic pad, no stting down, no menu, no atmosphere, yellow metal tables and metal chairs. Presentation is everything is delivered to you in a plastic bowl then you're told to get your own soy sauce, cups, drinks, napkins...no service. Extremely small and very very overpriced sushi. There is no way this place is rated like it is. We drove 45 minutes for this disappointment. Again, sushi was good, staff was nice. They are making a killing here offering the customer nothing, you can get twice the amount of sushi anywhere else in Phoenix for about 40% cheaper.

  It's a 3 star place at most! Sushi is ok, not bad, vibe is ok. This place is equivalent to tourist trap. Tons of influencer marketing, so there's a hype. Therefore they charge wayyyy more than what they're actually worth. They're a decent sushi place with decent decor. Nothing fancy nothing major. I'm not gonna complain about anything either, just that it's very hyped up and people go there because it's all over insa and therefore they overcharge. If they would charge like a neighborhood place I'd say it was a good place for a good price. But since they charge closer to fine dining they should deliver more. Gotta point out the service is very nice! Waiter was very informative and helpful
