- RMR MAug 10, 20261.0Beware of the Nathan’s grab-and-go hot dogs! I’m three months pregnant and was craving a Nathan’s, so my husband drove to Safeway specifically to get one. When I got home, the bun was rock hard on one side and the hot dogs were completely shriveled up like raisins. Absolutely disgusting. I called customer service for a refund, but they refused and wouldn’t let me speak to a manager, telling me I had to drive back to the store in 110-degree heat. I explained that I considered the condition of the food a health concern, and they eventually had me speak with the deli. I was told the hot dogs were fresh and that a manager would call me, but I never received a call and had to return to the store myself. Terrible food quality and even worse customer service. I won’t be shopping here again. I’ll take my business to Fry’s.
