Hank, apparently the head of his Department, spoke to me in a very condescending, rude way and Then followed me to the register to continue his extreme rudeness and talk at my back. This person should not be in a position that requires him to work with the public. I have heard people at the Anthem Community Center speaking of a " rude guy" at Safeway, but I've always dismissed those remarks because I've always had a good experience and not only this safeway but other safeways as well.

- DLDarlene LangMay 31, 20265.0“Steve in the meat department you went over and above any expectation that anyone would have coming into The grocery store I always enjoy the meat department at Safeway! Whenever I want specialty meat and extra customer service, that’s where I go Today was more than this, and I have to share . I came in specifically to get chicken skewers, and all of them had already been marinated with something that the store had marinated them with. Steve was the very kind gentleman helping me today and he told me if I had a few minutes. He would be happy to make me some that did not have marinate on them . I said no thank you it’s OK. I said really it’s all right, and he continued to tell me that it would not be a problem. So I accepted his kind offer and boy did he do a nice job with the Skewers that he prepared. I was so impressed with the service. I made it a point to go up to the customer service desk and mention him there lucky for me. There was a meet manager that was up there and heard my comments about Steve. I will always make it a point to go in there and pick up what I need From this point on There is a gentleman that works at the Fry’s meat department that every time he works it turns my stomach because he’s just not a very nice person so now I know where to go and not feel that Kudos to you, Steve you made my day and I hope this makes yours
