  Today around 750 I walked up to the Customer Service desk and observe two employees standing there. Had a chance to over hear what they were talking about and it appeared to be that it was just idle chitchat. I was informed that the Customer Service desk wouldn’t open till 8 o’clock and that they are unable to help me until Then. As a guy with a job and places to be 10 minutes at 7:50 in the morning is a long time. I fell as the customer I was marginalized and overlooked. Really bad Customer Service.

  This visit was the strangest waste of time and gas. This Safeway was the only one listed in the area to carry a product I need. I approached a staff member for assistance, and he literally backed away from me with his arms outstretched while I was speaking to him, as though I were contagious or something. Absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful. I went to the front of the store, a young staff member approached me and I told her what I needed, she looked it up in her pocket computer and said it's on an aisle they don't have. She then suggested I go to my local Safeway and have them order it from there. If mine can do that, hers can do the same and have it sent to mine. At least she spoke to me, which is an upgrade from the previous zero. Followed up per the manager below "This is an automated email response. Please do not reply to this email. We cannot accept or monitor electronic replies to this email address. Thank you for contacting us, your feedback has been received! In the event we require additional information to process your comments, we will attempt to reach you via the contact information you have provided. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you, and hope you have a great day." Right,

  Love this Safeway in particular because of how cheap everything is. First things first, for some reason the bakery stopped handing out free cookie samples a few years back. Management, please bring that back because Albertson’s owns you guys and they still hand out cookies to this day (unless that’s just the location I go to). The potato wedges in the deli here are so good they must be putting crack in them. They are perfectly seasoned with spices and probably the finest powder south of the border. The meat department has some amazing deals as well, although you have to be a member to get the discounts. There is this little section in the far left corner of the fridge display where everything is 30% off the lowest label. This combines my two favorite things: saving money and gambling. I am willing to potentially eat rotten meat if it means I can save a few bucks. I am very surprised nobody from corporate has shut this special down because it has to be a health code violation (hopefully they don’t read this). Don’t let them. Keep the mystery meat section. I need excitement in my life.
