Then when we were checking out, Viki at checkout was a tremendous help with assisting us with the app and everything. She was very patient and friendly. The only gripe I have is that when I needed to go to CS after being overcharged, I ran into a, not so kind incident. When I came up short "1" penny, Stacy wouldn't let me get by. How pathetic is that. I was told any business was to round up or down to help benefit the customer. Guess she was afraid of coming up short the 1-cent. Shame on you.
- KBKayLee BApr 17, 20264.0The Safeway always looks clean and presentable, when shopping in the produce section I was so impressed to see someone wiping down the bins of where all the fresh fruit and vegetables sit before putting new ones in it. The bins were clean and not caked on with disgusting dried and rotten fruit, juices or leaves like most other stores. This made a really good impression and showed me that this store actually cares about cleanliness. The customer service around the store was pretty good except for The deli area. While I was waiting for my food, I watched a customer ask when the hot fresh chicken would be out and the way the employee told this lady that it won’t be out for another 30 minutes, made me sad. She was very rude about it and seemed very bothered that the customer asked her that question. It seemed very unnecessary to have that much attitude for no reason at all.
