  1 star is too good. Wish I could give a minus 10. Placed an order for a customized birthday cake on August 3rd 2026. I even called Aug 5th to verify bakery got my online order and the lady who took the call confirmed my cake would be ready as early as 7am Friday Aug 7th. I arrived at the bakery friday morning to NO CAKE was ever made! I got told the lady CALLED OUTA work and therefore no cake was made.. The fact that I never got a phone call PRIOR to friday morning that cake would not be fulfilled is mind-blowing. Had I would have known I could have ordered elsewhere! I did get the assistant manager Hailey and Store Manager Ken phone number so I will be reaching out to express my massive disappointment

  Very disappointed. Spent almost $50 on this cake when I was quoted $35 because the guy failed to tell me the top design is $10 and the border is $10 and the border was extremely sloppy! It should have been put on first then the piping. Cutting the cake the border kept falling off. I get all my birthday cakes from safeway and this was the sloppiest one. Not sure i'll go back to this location for a custom cake anymore.

  Im usually a Safeway fan bit I had the worst experience with your Manqgere Shawn. I think in over a decade I've come back in once over a bill, but its hard ti describe how condescending he was. I was charged twice for 2 separate items. Its Saturday, had things to do but it was an over charge of $27. I had no desire to come back in. I had the receipt, thw card used and my safeway card. He was snippy from the beginning, I said im sure people can say this, please check the camera then. He went on to raise his voice to me and say I sound like a scammer when I returned within an hour, with a receipt, cards and an example of the items so he could verify. After being what I consider less then professional, he gave me the cash, didn't have the change, I said no big deal but then he tried to keep the 2 items I brought back so you verify what product I was questioning. Ive never written a complaint. He seems overly stressed out or overworked. Give Shawn a day off or maybe dont have him deal with people. I left my receipt with him, check the cameras if you think this is a lie inayway. Poorly done Safeway- he could have just been friendly and I would have been also. Like how can you prove your telling the truth when they wont check and act like your a huge inconvenience and continue to speak in a rude manner?
