Allison was our server and was so sweet and attentive, best service. Everyone who delivered our food was great too. Music was good too, made it a fun time. Cheesecake was perfect.

Literally sighed when they served us our food. We spent $30 for 5 pieces of “shrimp tempura” (was not shrimp tempura) and 2 pieces of what looked like a piece of tuna slapped on a pinch of rice. Seven pieces of awful tasting sushi. $30. Not worth the money at all. Everything was slightly warm (which was disturbing), and we ordered a bowl of ramen, but after the disappointment of receiving such sad looking sushi we were unsure if we should stay or not. When they served us the bowl of ramen, which was $20, it looked like something I could make in a dorm room with no kitchen. We left to another place. The people working there were fine and appeared on top of things but the portions should be properly labeled instead of “5-8 pieces”.

Great downtown location and cool atmosphere. I was greeted immediately and staff was great. It was Arizona restaurant week and ordered off the special menu. Started with Agadeshi Tofu then to the Crispy Trio Sampler. Both had great presentation and fantastic flavor. Main course was the Curry Ramen...this was the standout meal. Authentic flavors and fresh ingredients! Portions were generous I couldn't eat dessert which was included. They kindly made my Miso caramel cheesecake to go. You have to try this restaurant!

Not the best experience overall. The food was good at best but not for the price. It took about 15 minutes to even get recognized after being seated and this was after I went up to the hostess to request a waiter/waitress. They were out of the beer I requested - okay, not a big deal. But then my wife's wine was served in a champagne glass and still charged the same amount. Sorry, but this is not the same. We were seated at a table sharing with another couple. Again, not the worst thing but did take away from our privacy. Service was still incredibly slow after being assigned a waitress. There was no thank you for your patience or apology. Just straight into the history of the restaurant. At this point, we don’t care. The couple next to us received their drinks after they had finished their food. We got ours right before our food came (thank goodness). And this was the kicker - $44 for a slice of cheesecake??? You're out of your mind. We asked for a dessert menu and instead the waitress advised us of the two options. Felt like we were tricked. Granted, it was good but not for 44, ever. $15-20 tops. I’ve told this story a few times and every single person has said that has to be a mistake. I started to question this myself. Doesn’t show it on their site but sure enough, Google did confirm, it’s $44. Will definitely not be going back and will not be recommending. If you want to spend $200 on dinner, take your business elsewhere.

should be called obuns bc the food was genuinely ass. i tried a variety of things & somehow every new dish was more disappointing than the last. started with the pork bao buns & the pork was completely charred, dry & lacking flavor. i also tried their arizona restaurant week menu, which is supposed to feature some of their “best” dishes. the veggie gyoza was supposed to be pan-seared, but i got 6 pieces that looked like they had briefly passed by a steamer the second course was the crispy trio sampler, where the avocado crispy rice was honestly the only decent part. then came the street noodles, which were absolutely disgusting. so bad that even after boxing them up, i couldn’t bring myself to take them home. finished with the tiramiso, which had an overpowering taste of cheap vodka. i’m guessing the miso caramel was spoiled because there was no other explanation for whatever that was. we tried to power through most of it bc we hate wasting food, but when you spend $100+ on dinner, you should at least be able to enjoy some of what you ordered. i’m not usually one to bring up the price in a review, but this was extremely hard to justify. i also hate to leave one star reviews but this was genuinely such a disappointing experience. i really tried to find something i liked & somehow the avocado crispy rice was the highlight of the entire meal.
