My catfish was still sizzling when it hit the table. Meet the owner he recommended Mac and greens which we got. Both were tasty and the greens and a nice kick to them. Highlights were the peach Kool-Aid which was perfectly sweetened to my taste. The catfish which had a well done crunch I wish to achieve in the kitchen someday. Will be going back to try more menu items.

- ABAngelia BalentineApr 18, 20263.0We were looking for a quick, sit-down restaurant near the airport and we found this, only about 5 minutes away. We were welcomed the minute we walked in. The restaurant felt cozy, but there was plenty of seating. Now, let me start with the star of the show: the fried catfish. My son-in-law ordered it and it was the best thing we had. Hot, crispy and well-seasoned. I highly recommend this. I wanted to try the barbecue because it is a barbecue spot and their slogan is something like, "You don't need teeth to eat our meat!" I tried the 3 slider combo so that I could sample different things. The brisket was, by far, my favorite with the pulled pork coming in second. I also liked the sauce. It had a sweet, vinegar-y taste to it. The pulled chicken... it was extremely dry and lacked flavor. My daughter couldn't finish hers. We also were not fans of the sides. We had the baked beans. I'm sorry, I didn't like them. Then, we tried the Mac and cheese because another customer recommended them. Boxed Mac and cheese at best. Nothing special about them at all. The highlights were definitely the brisket and fried catfish.
