I went to this location today and yesterday. Today’s drive through experience was great and Rosanna was great. Kudos to her.

I was a relatively new customer to this location and I have to agree with most of the negative reviews for this place. Customer service is not their strong point and the donuts are what they are - donuts. It’s hard to get a doughnut wrong. They also have a shot of espresso for less than two dollars, and that shot of espresso carried me throughout the day - that is until today. Part of my daily routine was to get donuts & coffee here and eat them outside - where there are NO accommodations for relaxing on their patio. I read other various reviews and how horrible the service is/was and I have to agree. I am currently struggling with a condition of homelessness due to caring for others more than myself. After eating my customary 2 donuts today I fell asleep due to a sugar spike, lack of sleep & narcolepsy- which I have been experiencing since childhood- mostly caused by stress. I’ve worked in customer service for approximately 45 years and I’ve realized it is a thankless job and that you get what you give … if you give someone a crappy attitude, especially in this day they’ll give it back to you tenfold. The young female manager on duty today sounded her responsibility to call the police and paramedics because I close my eyes briefly and she was unable to wake me up. I felt no need to explain to her my life history. She merely assumed that I’m a drug addict that passed out on company property. I explained the situation to the police and they told me that they understand completely and that I was no longer welcome there. I told him fine. I don’t go where I’m not welcome and I will not ever suggest people come to this location based upon the interaction today, assumptions aren’t reality or fact for that matter. I’m fond of the expression when someone gives you lemons make them the best lemonade ever and I’m also fond of this expression. If someone serves you chicken poop make the best chicken salad that they’ve ever eaten and serve it back to whoever gave you what you originally weren’t expecting or wanting. And from some of the reviews, I’ve read this place serves some pretty crappy food … I only tried the donuts & the espresso, which were OK - nothing more nothing less. The male manager I had met a few days ago was very nice and understanding. I have come to the realization that corporations do not give a damn about the human condition. They only care about how much money they can put into their coffers and pretend to give a damn about customers outside of the money they provide. I’m as real as a heart attack and people like the female manager here have not one compassionate bone in their body. So essentially feel free to assume what you want about hard-working people who are down on their luck and I will never ever return to a location where I do not feel well or I’m treated as if I matter in this world - namely this place. 😇
