  The food is definitely on the lower end but the service makes up for it. My husband got the red chili burrito with the enchilada plate which was a decent size plate for $20 plus dollars. However, The taste of the rice is definitely off and the meat was a little tough. I had the cheeseburger which was all right. Better than McDonald's for sure and my son had the two mini chimichangas. It's alright, but I'm definitely not gonna make another trip to this place

  10/10 perfect experience. I got tacos stuff with pulled pork topped with onion and cilantro along with rice and beans. Chicken enchilada rice and beans. Pulled beef taco as well. Alison our server was nothing but smiles the entire time. I loved the classic beat up red and blue drinking cups. Free chips and salsa for the table was excellent; perfectly crispy chip and just the right level of heat on the salsa. I thought the prices were excellent, especially for how much you get.

  My family and I have been coming to don Jose for over 30 years. We used to be regulars back when the old man owned it. We moved but everytime we came into the valley we would stop in for some amazing food. I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop in and order the number 6 special (something my parents would order all the time) I was not disappointed in the slightest. Still my all time favorite spot to eat at.

  What can I say different than anybody else. The food is always amazing. The service is always great and it’s always a nice touch when the staff knows your order before you even place it love love love the food here and always enjoy going back every month when they say hot plate, they mean hot plate, Best, chicken cream cheese, jalapeño tacos ever.
