  Fuimos a Casa de Julia a celebrar mi cumpleaños y nos encantó la experiencia. Todo lo que pedimos estaba delicioso; yo pedí el mole y me encantó. 😋 Quiero agradecer especialmente a nuestra mesera Pamela, quien fue súper amable y atenta con nosotros. Mi bebida estaba un poquito fuerte de alcohol para mi gusto y, en cuanto se lo comenté, muy amablemente me la cambió sin ningún problema. Excelente comida, muy buen servicio y una experiencia muy bonita para celebrar mi cumpleaños. Definitivamente regresaremos. ❤️

  ⚠️ Be careful if you decide to visit this establishment. We recently visited and were charged $52 for two house margaritas. We were told there was an additional upcharge because they charge extra for the margarita mix, which was not clearly communicated to us beforehand. When it came time to close our bill, the waitress was not helpful at all. She simply handed us a pen and told us to circle what we had, insisting that we use only one card and not even giving us the option to leave the tip blank. We also asked which dishes were not spicy, and were told that everything was spicy, followed by the suggestion that we should “just get a salad.” The way it was communicated came across as dismissive and rude. Overall, the experience was disappointing—not just because of the prices, but because of the lack of customer service and professionalism. I’m sharing this so others know what to expect before visiting.

  Price ok ish Pork belly $22 very good 👍 The mole plate was terrible. $32 Service could have been better. Kinda slow, and at a certain point when we brought it to her one of our plates was bad, she asked if she could do something for us and if we would like a dessert making us think it would be complimentary. Which wasn’t something we thought about, we didn’t ask for discounts or anything. But since she offered I accepted the churros. It was Also far from good and we ended up paying $15 for that. That was a joke. Since I am just visiting the city I don’t really care. Just hope you don’t go through the same problem. Birria plate was Ok and only $22 we had to mix it with my wife’s food (mole) so she could eat some of it. They do have a good especial on Tuesday ($6 margaritas all day) I would not return or recommend this place. If you decide to go, run from the Mole chicken and run from the churros.

  I've been calling this restaurant for the last four or five days trying to make a private event reservation and they kept telling me that they had to get some kind of approval from a manager I decided to call today... and now they're telling me that they don't have room for a party of 15 after they told me that they would hold that reservation until somebody got back to me, that is poor service in my opinion and not a way to do business.... they could have told me from the first day that they did not have the capacity to hold 15 people in one party and I would have looked for some place else. Shame on them for doing business in this manner.

  Hicimos una reservación para cuatro personas y recibimos un correo electrónico confirmando nuestra mesa y también marcamos pa confirmar. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos, nos dijeron que no había mesas disponibles y que la reservacion solo decia 2 personas y los querían sentar en la barra. Esto fue extremadamente decepcionante, especialmente porque habíamos hecho la reservación con anticipación pa celebrar un cumpleaños y ya biemos recibido la confirmación. Y un dia antes del evento volvimos a confirmar nuestra reservación. La gerente nos dijo que ya no había más mesas y que no se reserva las mesas. Pero cuando primero llegamos la anfitriona que nos atendió los digo que solo abia una mesa y que ya estaba reservada. Lo que nos hizo preguntarnos por qué aceptaron y confirmaron nuestra reservación en primer lugar si según ya no abia mesa. Al final nos dieron la mesa qué segun estaba reservada. Durante el evento nos dimos cuenta que aun abian mesas solas sin ser ocupadas. La noche acual asistimo era para el Tributo a Julion Álvarez, cual pagamos $81. Esperando una noche con canciones a tributo de Julion pero desafortunadamente, solo interpretaron aproximadamente cinco canciones, lo cual fue mucho menos de lo que esperábamos. Para empeorar las cosas, se les terminó la selecion para escoger platillo. En general, la experiencia desde el principio comenzó mal. Entre el problema con la reservacion de asientos, el decepcionante tributo y la falta de opciones de comida, nos fuimos insatisfechas. Lo unico positivo fue la mesera que nos asistió (gracias).
