I'm currently in the hospital and my neighbor bought me a 40oz cup for my water to be delivered to hospital and Albertson's didn't have the color she chose but had this hot pink one and they left a sweet note on the straws...Totally brightened my day and thank you so very much! 🙂

My husband shops at this Albertsons every week, but today I happened to go with him, and our experience at the deli was extremely disappointing. The employee working behind the counter, Archie, took a long time to even acknowledge my husband. Another employee had to ask him to help us before he finally came over, and he laughed before doing so. After handling raw chicken, my husband politely asked him to change his gloves before preparing our order. Instead, Archie walked to the back, rinsed his hands, and wiped them dry on his shirt. When my husband repeated that he would really prefer he change his gloves, Archie initially tried to convince him it was “fine.” He eventually changed his gloves, but did so with a very obvious attitude, tearing holes in both palms of the gloves before continuing to handle the meat. From that point on, his behavior only got worse. He was visibly irritated, gave us the wrong meat at the wrong price, and threw the bag over the counter at my husband , it landed on the floor and then claimed he was “being racist” 😳 I never like the idea of someone losing their job, but this wasn’t just poor customer service—it was concerning from both a food safety and workplace standpoint. My husband has previously witnessed another employee in tears, saying she felt unsafe around Archie because of how he treated her. Based on what we experienced today, I would be very surprised if this behavior hasn’t been noticed before. The store manager stepped in, apologized, and generously comped our meat, which we genuinely appreciated. Thank you for trying to make the situation right. I sincerely hope this employee is held accountable. His behavior was unprofessional, dismissive of basic food safety practices, and honestly concerning. He appeared to be impaired, and if that’s the case, it’s an accident waiting to happen.

They didn't have the advertised pico de gallo so I had to get a salsa. What I got was a very expired salsa. The tortilla chips I purchased were not expired but taste like they are. Also they don't have hand baskets. Wth? I'm going to sprouts next time.

I go to Albertson's because they are the closest place to buy groceries.Fry' is the next closest place but even though it is only 1 major intersection away going south the neighborhood changes a great quote a bit for such a short distance. Albertson's has nice produce if a bit limited meat is so-so and everything is over priced even more than normal. But the truly worst part of this how snobby they are. They see my husband and myself in the store regularly . Despitethat they are really rude to us. We are retired so we are on a fixed income and we make use of our grocery flexcards and the few food stamps to make ends meet and eat well. I do not scrimp on groceries. They always make using more than 1 payment type a misery. Their money saving app isclunkyand difficult to navigate so I often skip it even though it would make a positive difference.justtoo much of a pain..So if you do not mind having someone look down their nose at you for trying to survive great because that is what you can expect. Honestly if I still had a car notjustan ebike I would go somewhere else. I don't like shopping there Who knows maybe next year we will be able to afford to move and I will be able to get groceries some place else . Anything can happen in this life you never know.
