I live in Lake Havasu City but was in Phx for a medical appointment. We don't have a lot of food places the bigger cities do so I like to stop and eat when in Phx. I got the avocado bacon burger no onion, fry and upgraded to a banana milk shake. Milk shake was bomb by the way. The Bacon 🥑, not so much! I think they put a tablespoon avocado on my burger. Always, in the past they put so much avocado on my burger it is dripping onto my lap!!! So, yes, 1 star because they know how to do it better! And I had not eaten since the day before and had just come out of anesthesia. So, I really was craving this burger 😔

The dining area is kind of small, floor was dirty and not mopped from previous night, windows and door glass is dirty, employee did not greet with a smile. The milkshake that I got was ok 4/5 but they did not honor military discount. Probably just go to In & Out down the street next time I am in the area

Waiting for more than 20 minutes for my food and never made it, that happen 6/12/2026, I ordered at 2:55pm at 3:15 pm I asked for my order they told me they still working on it, very disappointed

The drive-thru at this Whataburger is a complete disaster. I do not know if it is poor training, lack of management, or just a total absence of common sense, but the people running the drive-thru cannot seem to handle even the most basic parts of the job.
You repeat the order, they still get it wrong. You ask simple questions, they act confused. You wait forever, then still have to check the bag because accuracy is apparently too much to expect. The whole process feels disorganized, careless, and frustrating from start to finish.
Fast food does not need to be complicated. Take the order correctly, confirm it, make sure the food matches the receipt, and move the line. That is the job. Somehow, this location manages to make the simplest drive-thru experience feel like a major inconvenience.
Management needs to get involved immediately because this drive-thru is embarrassing. Customers should not have to deal with this level of incompetence just to get a basic meal.

I have had enough of this Whataburger location. The level of incompetence here is unbelievable, and it seems to be consistent rather than a one-time bad experience.
Orders are wrong, service is slow, communication is poor, and the overall attitude feels like nobody is paying attention or taking any pride in the work. I understand fast food can be busy, but basic accuracy and customer service should not be this difficult.
What makes it worse is that prices keep going up, but the quality of service keeps going down. Customers are expected to pay full price while dealing with mistakes that should be easily avoidable. At some point, management needs to take accountability, because this location is being run poorly.
I would not recommend this Whataburger unless you enjoy waiting, repeating yourself, checking every item before you leave, and still probably being disappointed. This location needs serious training, better leadership, and employees who understand that doing the job correctly matters.
