  I have had better experiences shopping inside the store than the drive up and go. I used to have problems with them not applying the $25 off paper coupons that they would send in the mail… constantly calling the store or customer service and they would ask me to send them the paper coupons that I already gave the the person when I picked up the order. How am I supposed to show you or send it to you if you have it? Also, pickup items are very hit or miss. I have gotten meat that went bad the next day, this last order, I had so many substitutes that I did not choose. I put clicked ‘Do Not Substitute’ button. And on my receipt it says I received the correct items but what I got was not even close to correct. You are better off going inside to get groceries. The bagged produce is also gross. Every time I get bagged apples or peaches or anything that has a deal, it’s been horrible. Their produce section is also very small compared to Fry’s or Sprouts or Walmart. The only reason I keep shopping here is they have good deal on non perishable food items. And the staff, minus the first round of people that worked there, have been nice. (I had to complain to the manager because the checkout lady was so rude to me I left their crying, but the manager was very kind and apologized and I haven’t seen that woman since) I have started splitting my groceries up between their packaged items at Safeway and getting fresh items elsewhere. Also, for a new store, this one does not look very nice inside. Just basic concrete and beige shelves. Not aesthetically pleasing compared to other grocery places up in this area.

  This location has consistently gone downhill. The customer service desk is rarely manned, leaving customers waiting around indefinitely for simple assistance or returns. To make matters worse, store management shows no interest in helping. Dealing with a manager named Gavin was an exercise in rudeness and unprofessionalism. Better training, accountability, and adequate staffing are urgently needed here.

  Thank you to the pick up and delivery crew the assistant grocery manager. I messed up on my delivery order and had my groceries delivered to the wrong address. It was the last of my grocery money and I didn't have time to locate and try and get it back. This store was so understanding and helpful and willing to replace and redeliver the entire order. We made all the arrangements and had it the groceries re picked for me. Turns out my neighbor had located me and delivered my groceries to me later that day. So I after all my drama I got my original grocery order. Still they had no problem doing all this extra work to help me fix a mistake that was 200% my fault. Thank u safeway for being great neighbors.

  Whoever was running the bakery tonight Tuesday, August 11th was a very rude and unprofessional older lady. We wanted a cake and she was like "Nope I clocked out, everyone clocked out." We were like we just wanted a cake and continued to say "No I clocked out" Very rude person for no reason. Went down the street to Frys and bought a cake from them instead.

  SO disappointed in this new location!! It was marketed as a higher end grocery store but the only thing high end are the prices. When you can find an employee they are completely unhelpful and even more uninterested in customer service. Produce is garbage and I've seen employees pick up delicate produce off the floor and put it back on shelves. Never any produce bags available. Bakery items and packages of produce are FREQUENTLY EXPIRED. I've bought grab and go meals that say "Chicken Salad" on to discover it's watered down tuna salad w moldy fruit. My biggest issue is that they consistently charge the wrong price for many items. Sale prices never ring up that way, even if it's labeled as a "digital offer" it's nowhere to be found on the app, their meat products are so egregiously misleading it's got to be a scam! The price advertised is never what you are charged and it doesn't show the price per lb on the checkout screen or receipt so you have to pull out a calculator to figure out you're being grossly overcharged!! I've brought all of this up to 3 managers and was bad blown off. I will be driving out of my way to Fry's from now on.
