Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I could immediately taste the quality of the food. The meat was real, the chocolate was real, nothing tasted over-processed, which is hard to find these days. Quick and speedy service, I was out of there in under ten minutes. And great prices, too. I got exactly what I ordered for the exact price I expected.

I got a simple cheeseburger with all the toppings including their sauce and potato fries with ketchup. They didn't give me lettuce or tomato. They didn't give me their sauce or the ketchup. It wasn't just me. My mom got a hamburger and they didn't give her what she originally ordered either. We checked the receipt and online ordering to make sure we ordered the right sandwiches. We did. This happened twice in a row. I haven't gone here in awhile so maybe they fixed it. The employees were nice though.

Tonight’s crew definitely had the drive through line stacked against them, but even under pressure they delivered amazing service and took the time to ensure quality and communication by wiping the drinks and repeating back customizations, ensuring me they were done. Great teamwork all around. (Food was great as well)
