Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Still sitting in the parking spot they told us to drive to 30 minutes after we ordered our food. This is supposed to be fast food.

Well i have to say it is better then McDonald's or Burger King. I compare to Jack in the box quality. But this might be a little better then that even.

I’ve been waiting to write this since I called and spoke with the manager and she said she would make it right but of course that didn’t happen. I ordered a #2 with milkshake upgrade and I was charged $20. Any time I’ve ever gone to wataburger when you get a meal and upgrade to a milkshake it’s like a $2.60 upcharge well this time I was charged $5.79 for a medium milkshake upgrade. I looked at the menu and that’s the price of a large milkshake alone, no upgrade. Secondly the burgers were drenched in mustard, soaked. I’ve included the photos. So obviously upset that I just spent $40 on food I can’t even eat bc all I can taste is mustard. I call and speak with the manager she apologized and said not to worry she’s sorry for our inconvenience and she would like to make it right, she asks for my name and says next time I come in it’s on them. Great thank you, I was a little upset that I was over charged but what can I do at this point the manager was kind and made it right as best she could and that was fine with me. So today I come by on my way home and pull through the drive through and let them know I called and spoke with the manager bc my last order was messed up. Asks me to pull up to the window and asks which manager I spoke to? I don’t remember her name but I remember that it was a woman. well then do I have my receipt? No I wasn’t told I needed to keep it. he says well if you cant remember her name and I don’t have a receipt there’s nothing he can do because my name isn’t written down anywhere. So I pull up my phone record where it shows I called and I offer to show the bank transaction, that’s not enough and I’m asked to come inside. I come inside and I’m told well since I was only over charged for the milkshake they will just remake that and at this point I don’t really care for anything I just want to know why I was told I was fine to come get it remade and now I’m being treated like a liar. He calls the manager on his phone and wants me to talk to her? Umm..? Then told me that I needed the receipt and I only have 7 days to come get it remade. Well I wasn’t told any of that, I have offered every type of proof, phone call, transaction, and even photos. After 30 minutes of being treated like I am a liar, the food was remade. At this point I don’t even want it. One star because it was not worth the headache or being overcharged. I am never coming to this location again.

The other one didn't have biscuits at 5 o'clock in the morning. No biscuits for the breakfast rush.
This one, the fryer's down but they're still charging full price.
Wasting more my gas, and I'm starting to think. But this whole point because this ain't the first time it seems like everywhere is all he's got something wrong and I gotta come back in two days.

The food was was decent. I could tell that the oil was not fresh, because the fries had the old oil taste and over salted.
We ordered a lot and the service was pretty good except they forgot the ranch dressing with the chicken nuggets - so I would've given 5 stars but missing the dip on something that needs dip is not good.
I didn't go inside so just being nice and judging by the kindness of the staff, which helps the atmosphere, I gave it a 5.
