Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- NKNashied Khan2 days ago1.0I waited for my food and the edges of the meat were hard and the two burgers I got were dry and looked like they sat for hours. Will not be back.
- JCJohn Carpenter3 days ago3.0I went through the drive-thru for lunch one day and ordered the Hatch Geen Chile double burger meal. It took a long time to receive my food. Then when I got it I pulled from the drive-thru lane to a parking spot in Wataburgers parking lot. The burger was HOT like it just came out of a microwave the fries were lukewarm at best but stale and kind of like soggy. Needless to say I did eat the burger as it tasted fine. The fries I threw away.

I got a Jalepeno double cheeseburger with mayo meal with a chocolate shake and fries. She got a bacon cheeseburger with mayo, onion rings and lemonade. $26.58 Burgers were over all pretty good but a little dry. They had really good beefy flavor and were pretty thick for fast food, probably could have used some extra seasoning (salt). Adding the Salsa Verde dipping sauce to the burger was definitely an improvement. Bacon on her burger was very good, really smoky in the best way and crispy. Fries were pretty unremarkable, not great but not bad either. The onion rings were very good and crispy and light. Not sure if it's worth another $1.60 for the upgrade cause you get a lot less. Downside... They didn't put cheese on her cheeseburger, not a huge loss cause the cheese doesn't really taste like much but is still wasn't there. The chocolate shake I got ended up being vanilla 🙁. And the lemonade definitely got swapped for the sugar free stuff and it's not very good.
