We had visited Tambayan at it's previous location. The service, the food, the atmosphere was great. The smell could bring you into the restaurant alone. This time, I requested a pan of lumpia for a party we were attending. I called in to do the order and that process was quick and easy. The day we came to pick up our order that heavenly smell called to us all the way in the parking lot again! The employees are friendly, and efficient. They had our order ready to go with a cup of sweet and sour sauce! And I picked up a couple treats while I was there. We snuck a bite on our way and it was delicious! The lumpia was a hit at the party! (As it always is) All that was left was the serving pan. We look forward to going back to have a nice sit down meal. My Momma was from the PI and has passed. Food is such a big part of our culture and our best memories. It's nice to eat good Filipino food and feel like she's with us again, even for just a little bit. Thank you!

I went to the restaurant today to dine in and ordered two plates of BBQ pork and one sizzling sisig. We arrived around 1:30 PM and were already pretty hungry. Unfortunately, it took about 30 minutes for our food to be ready, and when it finally came out, it was packed in a plastic bag. I told them it was fine and decided to just take the food to go. However, I was disappointed to find that none of my orders came with the lumpia that was supposed to be included yet there was sweet and sour sauce in the bag. This is not the first time our order has been incorrect or has taken too long to prepare. I hope the restaurant can improve the service and make sure orders are prepared correctly and in a timely manner.

I ordered via the restaurant's app. Very easy to use. Nice that there were pictures and descriptions of the items. The food was ready on time. Pickup was easy. The food was fresh and tasty. I would have given 5 stars, but, upon looking closely at my receipt, I was charge a "service fee" of $3.45. What is a service fee? Why isn't there any mention of this fee on the website? Just be upfront. When it is not disclosed, it's dishonest.

I’ve been to this place a couple of times, and my experience has been somewhat mixed. The service is generally on par with what you might expect from other Filipino restaurants, although it doesn’t quite capture the warmth and attentiveness often associated with Filipino hospitality. On both visits, the atmosphere felt busy and somewhat chaotic. If you’re unfamiliar with the setup, it can be a little overwhelming when you walk in, especially when the restaurant is packed. There wasn’t much direction on whether you should wait to be seated, find a table yourself, or go straight to ordering. The overall experience seemed more intuitive for regular Filipino diners than for someone visiting for the first time. As for the food, there are some good offerings, but I wouldn’t say they’re exceptional. On my second visit, I ordered the sinigang to go, and unfortunately, it fell well short of what I expected. The broth was a strange combination of watery, burnt, and grainy, which made the dish particularly disappointing. There was also a lot of burnt meat, while the amount of vegetables was noticeably lacking. The portion was huge, which is certainly a plus, but generous portions don’t necessarily make up for inconsistent execution. In this case, the quantity was there, but the quality didn’t match.
