I’m leaving this review because I’ve now had two really bad experiences at this Jimmy John’s location.
Last Thursday, I went in to order sandwiches and was told they had no bread. A sandwich shop with no bread? What surprised me even more was that there were around 6–8 employees there, and somehow nobody realized they were about to run out. They told me they were “baking more bread,” but honestly, that kind of preparation should never happen at a place whose main product is sandwiches.
Then today, I placed a delivery order and after waiting 45 minutes, I called to check on it. I was told they were short-staffed and only had one driver, which I can understand to a certain point. But the issue was how I was treated on the phone. When I asked about the delay, the employee responded in a rude tone saying, “I don’t know what you’re trying to get out of this conversation.” That level of customer service is completely unacceptable, especially when a customer is already frustrated because of a long wait.
Instead of trying to help or de-escalate the situation, the conversation became confrontational. Overall, this place seems poorly managed and the staff clearly need better customer service training.
Very disappointing experience. If I could give zero stars, I would.
