I am originally from New Mexico but have been living in Texas for the last 20 years. I can't get fry bread there. I have been craving a Navajo taco for years. Stopped by here while visiting my son in Phoenix to get one. Oh my goodness! I was not disappointed! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Phoenix. I highly recommend Hope's Fry Bread! Chef's kiss!

4.5 stars. Food was great, but a little pricey. Which is turning out to be the case everywhere these days. It's too expensive for us to order from here regularly, but great for a treat every few months. We got a regular Navajo taco, the chicken teriyaki sandwich, and 2 dessert ones with powdered sugar and honey. I was really surprised to see there's not a plain beans & cheese option on the menu, without having to customize a Navajo taco order.

I'm from the Four Corners. Fry bread is what I know and grew up on. The single patty burger I received was extremely dry! So dry that the condiments NEEDED help! Using Blue Bird with a dried out over cooked piece of meat is disgusting! In addition, walking in to Hispanic Music blasting and a teenager who could NOT stay off his phone while ordering was extremely disrespectful. Will NOT be back! Unfortunately, there was nothing authentic about the food!

While visiting family we went to eat at this restaurant. What an awesome place. My sister had been telling us about this spot and it did not disappoint. My husband and I got the burger with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. Instead of a bun it was frybread. Everything was made fresh. Something different and we loved it. The restaurant was clean and the employees were super nice. Next time we come to visit we will definitely stop here.

The young man who was at the register was nice, the food notsomuch. All tables were filled on the right side of the restaurant so we asked about the additional seating on the left (all tables empty, see pic) and they said that side wasn't open. It was 6:30 pm, dinner rush - instead of accommodating more covers for a more positive experience (and production $), they didn't open the other side. We stood there awkwardly watching other people eat while waiting for our food at the front door, SMH. The upside of not eating there - we could actually season our food to bring the flavor it lacked. Would we recommend? NO. Will we be back? NO. There are restaurants on every corner; do better Hope. Best of luck to you! And for the love of the culinary world - don't be scared of spices! •‿•
