The food was well prepared, but I felt it lacked some seasoning and the cornbread was a disappointment. In my opinion, it’s probably one of the best places to get close to soul food in the Phoenix area
I visited DMac's for the first time yesterday. I got the honey hot wings with a side of Mac n cheese. It was good! The wings were cooked well, which I love and appreciate. They weren't slimy, red or pink, and didn't have to be put in the oven which typically happens when I go to chain wings spots.
I didn't know there was a Wednesday special (.99 cent wings), so that was a pleasant surprise. I would have gotten more if I'd realized (greedy lol).
The mac and cheese was really good. Creamy, flavorful, and I want to have it again.
I definitely plan to go back to try other dishes.
I recommend you try it.
Keep up the great work guys 💪🏾
Best wings in Mesa and possibly even in the entire metro area! I highly recommend going and ordering take out!

Dmacs used to be my go-to wing spot whenever I visited AZ, but this last experience was extremely disappointing. I placed an online order 30 minutes ahead of time and still had to wait another 20 minutes after arriving. I ordered BBQ and buffalo wings, and both were so overly salty that I couldn’t even finish them. The quality and taste just aren’t what they used to be. Definitely not the experience I expected.
I'm really sad to write this. I moved to the area recently and had their chicken sandwich with banana pudding. Sandwich was eh but the banana pudding was my favorite. Unfortunately, I went back today and they completely changed the banana pudding, has some kind of cookie in it now with no bananas, really sad. I got the catfish, which was good. Mac n cheese has too much pepper. But idk if I'll be back, pretty bummed about that dessert.
