  Haven’t had chipotle in like 10 years because it was never as good as the hype said it was. I am trying to be a healthy boy and got a steak burrito bowl. It slapped pretty hard. Still overpriced for chewy overcooked steak. But it was surprisingly good overall.

  I’m honestly really disappointed because Chipotle is usually my go-to and I normally love the food. Tonight my husband stopped to pick up dinner after work because he was starving, and he even paid extra for double meat on his burrito. Somehow his burrito ended up smaller than my regular burrito with no extra meat at all. It was tiny and folded so easily it looked more like a taquito than a burrito. I completely understand portion sizes can vary a little, but paying extra for double meat and getting less food than a regular burrito is frustrating, especially for the price. I usually have great experiences here, which is why this stood out so much!!

  I had a very disappointing experience at Chipotle today. When ordering, I asked if there was more barbacoa available because the serving left in the pan looked like the last small amount and I was also paying for double meat. The employee told me that was all they had and proceeded to serve what looked more like scraps and shredded leftovers than a proper portion. The bigger concern was food handling. The employee who was called from the back to roll my burrito came out from the office area without gloves on, adjusted her clothing with her bare hands, then immediately put gloves on and began handling my food without washing her hands first. Proper handwashing is one of the most basic food safety practices, and watching that happen completely ruined my confidence in the cleanliness of my meal. To make matters worse, the burrito was rolled so poorly that it ended up as a mushy mess. It was obvious enough that several customers in line were visibly watching the situation unfold. By the time it was handed to me, it looked nothing like a properly prepared burrito. I also noticed that I was never given a receipt, which felt odd considering how unhappy I was with the service throughout the transaction. Ultimately, I chose not to eat the food and had to purchase dinner elsewhere because I wasn't comfortable risking my health over poor food handling practices. I'll be requesting a refund and strongly encourage management to retrain employees on proper food safety, handwashing procedures, portion consistency, and basic food preparation standards. Very disappointing experience. This happened at 8:27pm on June 3rd 2026
