  I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom’s house for Mother’s Day. I got the confirmation text and text that they had been delivered successfully, just to get a text from my mom saying all she got was a piece of paper with the delivery label on it and NO flowers. So I paid $60 for a piece of paper! I called and sat on hold for over an hour just for them to tell me they can’t help and I need to make a claim online. So I did that and then was denied my refund with no explanation. Had to repurchase flowers from smiths instead. Thank you for STEALING my money!!

  If I could leave zero, I would. I do most of my shopping here and normally have a good experience. However… today I went to pick up a grocery order and they had an IT issue. I went in and saw that the order was prepped and ready. I had authorized payment. But, because THEIR system was having issues, they would not release the order. Even though they could have scanned whatever they needed once it went through, no groceries for the elderly woman in Golden Valley for whom I was picking up. I waited 45 minutes with no resolution and the store manager was no help at all. In the end, he said they’d have someone Door Dash the delivery once they figured out their IT problem. We’ll see…

  Used the Safeway app to place my order. I chose the Safeway at 3970 Stockton Hill Rd. We checked in, let them know what spot we were in. Sat there for over 30 minutes and no one brought our items out. I finally went inside and was told they didnt have my order check the other Safeway. I showed them my app says it is at their Safeway. And they said, "Yeah, that happens several times a day." I am sorry, that is unacceptable. That will be the last time we use the Safeway app to place a pick up order. We will be shopping elsewhere. Then when we picked it up...the order came with my cantaloupe upside down in the bag and it was spilled.

  Was Doordashing and the person that was helping me got 2 orders messed up and did want to do anything because it was time for her to go home. Gave me torn bags, an item was missing and an item not on order was included. Another associate refused to help me because he didn't put order together (older gentleman with grey hair and glasses. Nobody else would help and kept passing me off to next person. I finally had to get a manager involved before they would help me. Very poor way to treat a Doordasher or customer!

  I recently visited the Safeway florist for Easter bouquets and had a very disappointing experience with an employee named Maria. Unlike other staff who have always been helpful, Maria was rude from the start, ignoring our request to have the flowers custom wrapped. She handled the flowers roughly, literally throwing them down without care or even spreading them out properly. When we told her the prices, she questioned their accuracy and acted distrustful. The bouquets she wrapped were sloppy and careless, so much so that we had to re-wrap them ourselves once we got back to the car. This level of service is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. In the picture you can literally see that the flowers are all in groups
