But it beats smiths, Walmart, when it come to fresh made fried chicken and the pastry dept is top on my list.
- SSSheila S3 days ago3.0I normally have a good experience in this Safeway. The employees are nice and helpful. Today, 10-12-2026, I saw a lady in the store with a larger med size dog. Probably about 50+#. The dog wore an EMOTIONAL SUPPORT vest. We know that an emotional support dog is not allowed under the ADA. It is not recognized and does not have formal training. The dog had to continuously be told to stay down, stay back, come closer. I have a real trained SERVICE DOG. She has been lunged at, growled at and almost bitten more than once. I hate to even take her to stores anymore. I have to pay extra for delivery. I understand that you can’t ask much about Service Dogs, but when it’s advertised that is not a service dog, management should have escorted that dog out. I’m not saying that they don’t make outings easier for some, but until emotional support dogs are recognized, and trained, you’re to leave them at home. Just like it was illegal to smoke marijuana, even though it helped many, people were arrested and fined. Then it became legal. All was well for those that partake.
