    I’ve been coming to this Dutch Bros every day for the past week while visiting from out of town, and I’ve ordered the exact same drink every single time without any issues. Today (around 1:18 p.m.) was a completely different experience. The employee taking my order entered it incorrectly, so the baristas made my drink wrong. As soon as they handed it to me, I politely let them know it was supposed to have soft top. Instead of simply correcting the order they entered incorrectly, I was told I would have to pay extra for the soft top. That’s fine—I have no problem paying for it if that’s how it’s supposed to be rung up. My issue is that the mistake wasn’t mine. The order was entered incorrectly, and instead of updating it on the iPad and charging my Dutch Bros app, they made the situation much more complicated than it needed to be. The interaction only became more frustrating from there. I was met with attitude, and they even mentioned remaking the drink without the soft top after already putting it on. None of it made sense. I’m a regular Dutch Bros customer in Utah, so I know how to order my drink. This wasn’t a case of me ordering incorrectly—it was entered incorrectly by the employee. I tried to clarify the mistake immediately, but instead of receiving good customer service, I was made to feel like I had done something wrong. Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that. What disappointed me was the attitude and the way the situation was handled. A simple correction turned into an unnecessarily frustrating experience over a cup of coffee.
