- EVeric vulgate1 day ago2.0i don't understand all the positive reviews for this store. yes the employees are great, there's a lot of stuff on the shelves, and its clean. more important to me is that every single month since I've been in this crummy town the prices have gone up and up and up. many things i would routinely purchase have doubled in price just this year. basically meat is off the menu now- one category of several that i can no longer afford. in the past there were always things in the mark down sections with 50% off stickers- that brought some items down enough for me to at least feel like i wasn't getting robbed- but there's a lot less of that since they recently started using new stickers with lesser discounts. I'm from a city, where there were lots of stores and prices were more in line with local wages. in a town with one grocery store we are a captive audience and they know it. every time i see an unfamiliar corporate suit in the place I'm thinking 'oh oh- something is about to get worse'. i find it's much cheaper to drive 95 miles to gallup and buy my groceries there once a month- the money i save more than makes up for the gas and time i spend doing it. this is a rural area but we're on a major highway it's not like they have to fly our food in or drive a hundred miles of dirt road to get here. something is clearly very wrong and i have no faith things will improve.

(I have joined the Health program and save money for all the working out I do!) This was a clean store and we will visit again!
