Horrible. Traveling interstate 40 just before Holbrook Arizona exit we saw a huge billboard advertising pizza hut 9.99 buffet and we planned to stop for lunch in Holbrook, Arizona anyway so we decided to try the pizza hut buffet. We walked into the place and there was only one other table with guests so they were not busy at all. We noticed the buffet was not set up and asked about it because the billboard said the times it was available and we were within that time frame. The sweet girl at the register said they hadn't started it yet and asked the manager how long until it was ready and she said they get it ready whenever they get an order for it. Strange response since it was advertised at a particular time frame just a mile from the restaurant on a busy interstate. We asked how long until it was set up and she again asked manager who replied 15 minutes. We decided to stay and have the buffet thinking it was not a long wait for fresh food and variety. She up sold us the pasta, desert and salad along with pizza vs the pizza only because it was shown online that it came with numerous items. We were told it would be 37.00 and change for an 11.00 each buffet....not sure what happened there but Instead of asking about it we didn't want to have to put the waitress in another uncomfortable situation because every time she asked the manager something the manager was more rude and annoyed so we just chalked it up to an error by the waitress and would deal with it after lunch. I asked that we pay when the buffet was actually set up to ensure that if the time was longer and we had not been able to stay and wait we could choose something else but again the manager was not nice to waitress and we ended up paying ahead of time. When the first pizza came out it was doughy and raw in the center and we were told it's the time frame that they cook them for buffet so they don't over cook while sitting on the buffet table under the lights. The next thing added was a left over pan of plain pasta with red sauce that was definitely a left over due to the evidence of dried sauce and muck baked on the side of the pan they reheated it in. Bread sticks with no dipping sauce came next and then nothing so we asked what was next and they said basically if we wanted to order a particular pizza we could but it was already 40 minutes into lunch and they never said we could pick a pizza of our choosing at the start. A thin crust pizza eventually came out and it was inedible. Im not sure if was pizza crust or a cracker it was rock hard and tasted terrible. By then we were not happy and still hungry so again we asked what and when was coming next and apparently the manager thought it was enough although the sweet waitress said she did think a dessert may be added later. She said we could salad but they had not ever set the salad bar so that would have been another 15 minutes for salad to get set up. The food was so inedible and it was obvious that no matter how often we asked the manager was finished putting food out on the buffet table so we left hungry and almost 40 bucks down the drain. I felt like I had literally been mugged out of 38.00 when we left. I felt terrible for the cashier/ waitress because it was difficult for us to see how badly the manager spoke to her whenever she asked questions so we stopped asking for her sake. All in all this pizza hut should be added to the list of pizza hut closures I saw on the news today. It is wrong to have a huge billboard on a freeway and not deliver the goods when it literally directs you to the pizza hut just off the exit. I hope someone in corporate sees this and replaces this manager before this location does get closed for the cashiers sake. Although she was so sweet and handled it so gracefully she could easily get another job where she would be appreciated for the nice , conscientious person she is.

Traveling route 66 stop for a room for the night, tried to order for delivery because our hotel host suggested pizza hut. Tried to order 3 personal pan pizzas kick of at least 3 times of there website. I just decided to drive there and order it in person Was told 15 minutes waited 30 and asked about my order . I was told they the pizza pan crust were frozen and that's why it was taking longer. After another 10 minutes tried to ask for my 24 dollars back but was told it wasn't possible. Then finally got my order bagged but only had 2.. they forgot about 1. Had to wait an additional fifteen minutes just to bring back one hot pizza and two cold ones , but it was past 8 pm and everything else was closed. I'm going to take this higher on the chain but I don't know if it will go anywhere.
