  Meh is all I gotta say🫤 Food was decent but it is no where close to being a BBQ place. Food taste like frozen meat leftovers microwaved and thrown on some tater tots. Super small restaurant and not much seating. BBQ sauce bottles are on the table, and I was enjoying myself indulging in the many sauces, till I saw an old white lady at another table licking out the bottle🤢🤢yall old folk down in green valley be nasty🤣 anywhoooo eating my school cafeteria ah lunch, the register was broke so I had to wait an hour till they got it fixed and was able to pay. I ain't a broke playa but come on now they should've let us go free instead of being held hostage for an hour🤣🤣 Nevathe less I will NOT be returning

  In an area with way too many 2 and 3 star restaurants this one stands out for what it does well. The decor screams local southwestern BBQ restaurant and bar. Looking at recent reviews, either we were lucky or management has taken a deep hard look and improved drastically. Hopefully it’s that this is the new norm and they keep up good service and food. When we came in about 80% of the tables were full yet service was pretty fast. I’m a pescatarian and came for my better half who wanted BBQ. There’s a black bean burger on the menu, but I assumed it’s the frozen kind. And I confirmed it is so passed for the following option. They had a shrimp poboy, which was done very nicely on a fresh roll. And they happily substituted the veggies for some homemade potato chips and coleslaw. Both were excellent sides . I give my meal an 8 out of 10. Pretty darn good for AZ - I’ve done worse in New Orleans! The two meat platter with ribs and brisket brought a smile to my better half’s face. She gave the ribs a 10 and the brisket a respectable 8. Portions were huge and most of the brisket came home. Sweet potato fries were very good, extremely hot and fresh. The cheesesteak chicken sandwich was also rated a 10. Our fourth diner ordered the chicken salad, which was a huge salad based on a bed of romaine with lots of chicken, black beans, crispy onions, avocado, corn, and other stuff. Also rated a 10! And enough left for lunch tomorrow! Our server Alyssa was great. And the chef, Jesus, came out to see how everything was. Kudos to him and the restaurant. We are not locals, but my father in law is. If I was here, I’d come regularly to make sure they continue to do well. So from someone who typically passes on BBQ restaurants, this is one not to miss.
