Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- AMAlex Mahoney1 day ago1.0Today is 5/19/26. Got the Whatawings BOGO and used my award points to get a free medium fries. Wings were cold and dry. The fries were soggy and cold. We've been at this location many times the food has always been good. We are not coming back at this location.

- ASAmeet ShuklaApr 17, 20262.0I only bother eating at Whataburger restaurants about 3 times a year. As flavorful and tasty as their fare can be, NOTHING justifies a 30-minute wait in the drive-thru. This happens frequently across multiple locations and it's been going on for YEARS. Since I eat at Whataburger so rarely, I notice that their menu changes so much faster than their competitors', which is another reason I so rarely bother going to them. I used to LOVE their hot lemon pies so much that I was willing to tolerate the long wait times. Of course, the lemon pies were soon discontinued. There have been so many delicious sandwiches they've introduced in the past, and they were willing to mix different ingredients, daring to take chances and be experimental. I have made the journey to buy these items, but then suddenly I show up one day and I'm told they don't have that item anymore, breaking my heart. **That isn't the way to build customer loyalty.** May as well drive another block and buy a Big Mac. You know it'll be there and you'll only wait 10 minutes max!
