- KSk stack4 days ago5.0Topgolf Glendale… the food was excellent, the customer service was amazing, and my golf game was apparently still back in 2006. 😂⛳️ I hadn’t played golf in over 20 years, and let me tell you… IT SHOWED! 🤣 I came for the targets, but apparently my ball had other plans. Good thing nobody was grading my swing! What a fabulous time! Delicious food, plenty of laughs, and a staff that made the whole experience even better. I am extremely disappointed, offended, and shocked by how I was treated at this location. First of all, I want to make something very clear: I DO NOT drink alcohol, I have NEVER used drugs, and I live a completely healthy lifestyle. I was visiting friends, and we decided to come to Topgolf to have a fun evening together. It was supposed to be my very first experience playing golf, and I was genuinely excited about it. However, the moment we walked in, before we even had a chance to enjoy anything, a staff member approached me and immediately told me that they would not serve me alcohol because I was supposedly drunk! Are you serious?! Their reasoning? Apparently, I wasn’t speaking clearly enough for them. The reality is that English is not my first language. I am still learning English, and sometimes I struggle to pronounce words correctly or express myself fluently. Instead of understanding that someone might simply have a language barrier, the staff immediately assumed I was intoxicated. What makes this situation even more ridiculous is that I NEVER EVEN WANTED TO ORDER ALCOHOL! I ONLY WANTED A COCA-COLA! I explained to them that I don’t drink alcohol at all and that I don’t use drugs. But the damage was already done. I felt humiliated, insulted, and completely disrespected. Since when does having an accent or struggling with English mean that someone is drunk? I came here to have a good time with my friends, not to be judged, falsely accused, or embarrassed by the staff before our evening had even started. This was supposed to be a fun and memorable first experience playing golf. Instead, the staff completely ruined our evening and turned what should have been a great memory into an extremely unpleasant experience. I have never felt so unwelcome at an entertainment venue. The level of disrespect, ignorance, and unprofessionalism was absolutely unacceptable. I sincerely hope management takes situations like this seriously and trains their employees to treat guests with respect, especially those who are still learning English. Nobody deserves to be humiliated or accused of being intoxicated simply because they don’t speak perfect English. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone based on how I was treated. Absolutely disgusting customer service. A completely ruined evening. ZERO respect for customers. If I could give ZERO stars, I absolutely would.

A staff member approached my husband and informed him that he was not allowed to order or be served any alcohol because they supposedly thought he was “walking unsteadily.” The most ridiculous part? My husband had never even asked for alcohol and had absolutely no intention of drinking! We were essentially treated as though my husband had done something wrong based solely on someone’s subjective impression of the way he walks. It was embarrassing, offensive, and completely unnecessary. We came to enjoy ourselves, not to be judged or subjected to unfounded assumptions. We understand that businesses have alcohol safety policies, but there is a respectful and professional way to handle these situations. Making someone feel publicly judged and humiliated without any actual incident is unacceptable. This experience completely ruined our impression of Topgolf. We expected hospitality and a fun evening, not this kind of treatment. Management should seriously reconsider how employees communicate with guests. We will never return to Topgolf again, and we certainly would not recommend this location to anyone. What was supposed to be a fun evening turned into an uncomfortable and humiliating experience. We have absolutely no desire to spend our time or money at a place where guests are treated with such disrespect.

Every time we asked for something she said I can’t do that, in a rude tone when she could’ve offered a different option if that was the case. It was constantly being told no for every single persons ask. Felt very unwanted there. Zero customer service. Then we went to the bar and waited for over 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge or assist us. Multiple employees were around, but we were essentially ignored. We shouldn’t have to repeatedly try to get someone’s attention just to receive basic customer service. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that I purchased a membership expecting to actually enjoy my experience, and when I reached out to Guest Care afterward because I was disappointed, the response I received focused entirely on the fact that I had used the membership to make a booking. Nobody asked me what happened or why I was unhappy. I understand that there may be policies regarding membership refunds, but I expected someone to at least care about the experience that led me to request one. Instead, I felt dismissed both at the location and afterward by Guest Care. This was my first experience with Topgolf, and unfortunately, the customer service left a really bad impression. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because customers should feel welcomed, acknowledged, and respected when they walk through the door. I purchased a Topgolf membership and almost immediately realized I was unhappy with the experience and wanted to cancel and receive a refund. Instead, the response I received from Eric was essentially that because I had already used the membership to book a complimentary hour, they would not cancel or refund it. What really bothered me was that he never asked about my experience or what had caused me to be unhappy in the first place. The entire response focused on the booking rather than the actual customer concern. I understand that there may be membership terms regarding refunds, but good customer service should still involve listening to the customer and addressing the reason they’re reaching out. I felt completely dismissed. I hope Topgolf takes feedback like this seriously. I wasn’t looking for an argument. I simply wanted someone to actually hear my concern and make an effort to help.
