To basically be accused of stealing with no reason except the fact that I am a Black man is disgusting. To start I just moved here from Texas (which I will be returning back to ASAP). I'm used to the awkward stares whenever I walk into one of their stores by customers but to be accused of stealing when I notified the cashier that there are additional items in my basket that need to be scanned (heavy items that I was gentleman enough not to have a small cashier try to lift) to be told by a self-checkout employee (who should be attending to self checkout) "HEY make sure you scan those items in his basket too" as if I was trying to take something is extremely disappointing. The cashier was so embarrassed for me all she could do was apologize. NOT ALL BLACK PEOPLE STEAL. Since being here in AZ I know for a fact I have spent at least $1,500+ CASH into this store (in 2-3 locations) but going forward they WILL NEVER get another penny from me and I will be encouraging all other BLACK/African Americans to shop else where since we need to be watched EXTRA HARD. I work hard and I refuse to spend my money in a place that can't even offer a sincere apology.

We went to pick it up today we came home put in the fridge. When we went to pull it out to eat the thing is frozen all the way through !!. The guy at the bakery didn't say squat about it being frozen when it was oredered or when we picked it up. Talk about disappointing. You've lost our business and I will tell others when they ask how my birthday strawberry pie was.

This Safeway location is amazing. I spoke with Ruby on the phone and she was very kind and they did resolve my problem. Thank you for taking such great care.
