Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I gave this place a chance because I was tired of missing items from orders, because you know, it’s so hard to quality check orders at night. This place was no different. Order a 3 pc tender, fries,a shake and a chicken sandwich….didnt get the chicken sandwich. Zero cars in line. Zero people waiting behind me, but zero quality check. Just so tired of terrible service at these places and then now charging as much as they do for poor service and food.
- AAAngala AlfordSep 2, 20262.0I went through the drive through and the they forgot 1 of my burgers. So I went inside to ask them for the item they left out of my order. The guy that was supposed to be charge acted as though he didn't know what to do when I tol'd him they left something out of my order. Then a young kid who was working with grill got really smart with me and told me I was full of it and that they did make that burger! I wasn't even talking to him. He continued to mouth off while I was trying to talk to the shift manager. The weird thing was that the guy in charge didn't say anything to the young kid, he just stood there. It was very unprofessional and just flat out odd! I left a review on the Whataburger site and asked them to please contact me. To this day I haven't heard a word from them. I'll never go back to this location again.
