It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Service was great, he was patient while we ordered difficult kids food. Food was fresh and fries were super hot and crispy. Can’t complain about. 6 dollar kids meal with fries and a drink and a treat and a bunch of stickers.

    My family and I visit this location quite often, as of late there have been issues with the food being cold or tasting old. Today it was the fries, COLD and chewy. I ended up going back to pick up something for my Daughter and mentioned it to the same gentlemen who served me 45 mins prior. He didn't even apologize, played stupid and gave me the total for the new order. When I got to the window, I said " you were the one who gave me my previous order" he did it even offer an apology or to make things right. Would 3 medium fries break the bank?? I called the location directly and asked to speak with the Manager, and asked if the gentlemen at the drive thru is a manager and requested NOT to speak with him. The woman who answered claimed she was a manager, although her English and grammar was that of a 6 year old. When she proceeded to tell me this Jeff guy was the GM, I couldn't help but chuckle because if he treats customers like he treated me, he is definitely in the wrong business and needs to learn how to be professional to customers. He has sandy blonde hair, short guy with glasses. Very disappointed and doubt I will visit this location anymore and I will be sure to pass this on to my other friends who also go there ....I know they will follow me!!! Perhaps some classes in business and customer service might be a great starting point!!

    I ordered 5 meals for pickup, but when I arrived home and checked my order, I discovered that several items were missing. Instead of receiving the full order, I only received 4 fries, 2 burgers, and drinks. It was very disappointing to drive all the way home only to realize the order was incomplete. I understand mistakes can happen, but I expect orders to be checked carefully before being handed to customers. I hope the restaurant improves its quality control to prevent this from happening to others.

    This is not even one star I will give it 0 I ordered six meals online and they gave me drinks fries and three burgers like bro I’m hungry like you do me dirty like that is crazy like you guys be thinking your the boss like do you job 😭✌️ like bro are there obvious people working at night like you guys be playing with me like bro I’m just trying to eat like I’m never coming back 😐

    I hate to say it, but I was genuinely disappointed with Whataburger for the first time in my life — specifically at the new Gilbert location. My wife ordered a #12 (it looked like crap) and I ordered a #2 Double and spent what would have easily covered a meal at a sit-down restaurant with far better quality. Unfortunately, the burger arrived with just the bun, two patties, and some wilted lettuce. That’s it. No cheese, no tomatoes, no pickles, no onions — nothing. It also looked like it had been smashed after being assembled. For the price we paid, especially at a brand-new location, I expected much better. We were too far away to return it, so we ended up throwing the food away. As someone who’s been eating Whataburger since I was a kid, this was the first time I’ve ever left genuinely frustrated. People work hard for their money, and when you walk into a Whataburger, you expect consistent quality and care — especially from a company with such a strong reputation. Hopefully this was just an off day, because this experience fell well below the standard I’ve come to expect.
