We used to visit Tap N Tikka quite often, mainly for their Amritsari kulcha, which we really enjoyed. However, our recent experience was disappointing due to noticeable menu changes and a significant price increase. At the current price point, the slow service and average ambiance don’t quite justify the cost—especially when there are other higher-end Indian restaurants offering a better overall experience.
That said, the food itself remains good. We tried the paneer bhuna masala, dal tadka, garlic naan, and mango lassi, and all were flavorful with no complaints on taste. One surprising change was being charged $5 for a side of onions, which felt excessive.
Overall, while the food quality is still solid, the value and experience have declined, and we would likely choose to dine elsewhere in the future.
The food was very good and the choices were endless. We enjoyed our meals but I was very disappointed with their failure to follow the menu sale for Happy Hour. The menu clearly stated Happy Hour Daily 3:30-6:00: Wine1/2 off Bottles
Wine Wednesday: Half off Wine bottles all Day
They refused to honor this deal that is clearly stated in Menu. They should remove that from the menu if they are unwilling to honor that. I probably will not return until they fix this on their menu. I always look for Happy Hour deals to make the experience more affordable.
Very disappointed as requested mughlai paneer but we were served with the wrong dish made with only red gravy without any white gravy and cream, as in the menu it was stated to be a white curry with cashews and cream and the salt amount was higher than average
A Punjabi restaurant usually doesn’t charge $6 for two slices of onions but that is what we experienced here. It was taken off afterwards but read the bill carefully for extras.
From my experience I can say that tap n tikka is definitely overpriced for everything.
We will not be returning.
Been here several times and always a positive experience. Food quality is top notch and service is attentive. We recently got take-out for Mother's Day and everything was ready on time and hot! Very tasty when we got home. We ordered saag paneer, kadhi pakoda, chole bhatura and plain/garlin naans. All good!
Highly recommend!

I'm really sad to see the changes that have happened. We've been coming here since the place has opened and we drive nearly 40 minutes out of our way just to come here because of how good we thought it was. We loved the plates and the serving dishes because of the charm we thought they had. Now they use these more American looking serving dishes that are just a huge bummer and look stale.
But the reason why we came was because of the flavor, the seasoning was delicious. Now it tastes watered down. Like there is less cumin and a few other spices? Perhaps.
Our favorite dish was the gobi Manchurian, we used to come because of how good it used to be.
Now even that has lost its flavor. Even the cauliflower that was used today looked sad and watered down.
With the prices that have gone up dramatically, the food losing its flavor, and the charm gone from the serving dishes I'm sad to say we won't come back. We were okay paying even double if it was just the same as before. Now you could NOT even pay me to eat here.
I want to add that I think their customer service is great, the staff is always friendly, so it has nothing to do with that. Just the changes someone chose to make.
My family and I are really sad because we feel like we've lost our favorite restaurant and now we have to find a new place. I hope everyone else enjoys the changes because we do not.
