  Taking my Daughter out to lunch on a Sunday for standard food shouldn't cost $40. This is why people dont go out to eat as much anymore and places close

  Prices need to change! Cost $35-45 for a big beef combo w hot peppers, reg cheese fry, regular single cheese burger regular cheese fry. Your prices are outrageous and need to come down. A beef sandwich should cost no more than $6 hot pepper cup $.25 cheese cup $.25 large cheese fry $4 including the cheese!. Cheese burger $6. Chicago Dog $2.95 You can't even have a meal for 2 people without spending $35-45!!!!! It's absolutely unacceptable.

  So we've been eating Portillo's since BEFORE they came to AZ. Today, ordered the usual sl wet Italian Beef. Not wet. All grease. My husband took it back to the counter, asking for a new one, hold the grease. He was informed they put oil in their gravy. So he got a fresh one, gravy/grease on the side. I opened the container of alleged au jus ans noted the top 1/2" was pure clear oil. Gross. I'll just eat the beef. Ummmmm, wait. What IS this? It's called an Italian beef. There is NO seasoning on this beef. It tastes like fatty low quality nothingness. Just disgusting. Come on, Portillo's... DO BETTER!!!

  Wife and I went here on Friday May 1st. Order a beef and sausage bowl with fries (gluten free), and my wife ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings. They gave me a sandwich and got my order wrong, so I had to get it fixed. My wife's onion rings were not good and we did not finish our food. It both made our stomaches gurgle after, regardless of having to eat gluten free or not. Cannot designate food allergies from kiosk. First and only time going to this place. Was not very good at all, and the beef I had was still cold.

  The location was convenient and the restaurant was clean. This was my first time going to Portillos so I think I ordered incorrectly, I ordered a hot beef sandwich with peppers and cheese cheese and they forgot the peppers. I also waited to eat until I got home which was a huge mistake, that sandwich should definitely be eaten immediately. I also had fries they were crispy and cooked perfectly. I had nacho cheese sauce to dip my fries in, it was hot and yummy. I would definitely order it again. I will be back and order something new for my main.
