  My experience has been with their online shopping and delivery. I called customer service because I was missing an item from my order. She answers the phone and there’s so many roosters crowing in the background I could barely hear her. Like what the hell? I told her I was missing the item and she said she would give me a refund. I explained I did not need a refund, what I needed is what was missing from my order. She says I have the option of going to get it, but they won’t come back out and bring it to me. Hmmm. If I could go get it, I would’ve done so to begin with. Also, I ordered some meat in a specific weight and they sent way under for that. So now I have to drive to the store to get the rest. I am out the delivery fee and tip. Customer service 1/10. Not recommended.

  I found what I needed, but came outside to a bunch of teenage girls knocking each other around in front of the entrance. Not a place I want to shop anymore.

  For a store near schools, cancer/medical centers and all types of families that come through this store it is in poor condition. Half the lights out front of store are creating dark spaces potentially dangerous , the mens bathroom has no towel holder on the wall, the paper towels are sitting on the trash can and the the urinal handle shakes when flushing. There is few other things as well. Some Safeway stores I see poor morale you guys have just one store manager that has to do everything all at once.

  Unfortunately we live in a town where there aren’t a lot of options for groceries. This Safeway is closest and convenient for me so I will still be shopping here. Normally it’s a great place to shop and are filled with friendly people. Had a not good interaction with the older gentleman in the meat center. It was myself and my two year old son, who are brown and of Native American descent, waiting a significant amount of time standing right in front of the case waiting to get bacon. The worker walked right by us several times, me thinking he’s busy decided to be patient and let my son FaceTime with his grandparents. Walking by us a third time the worker decided to stop what he was doing and address the white couple that just walked up behind us to help them. We live in 2026 and a normally friendly town but it’s unfortunate to see that selective services is still based on the color of your skin. Was not expecting to have the conversation with my two year old son explaining that people will treat him differently based on the color of his skin. Wild! Not looking for a hand out, just hoping someone reads this to know that prejudice is still out there even in 2026.
