Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The fries are CONSISTENTLY trash they are either very old and hard or they are severely under cooked and soggy. Speaking of fries why is it this location NEVER fills the fry containers up? I order a large fry and get the equivalent of a small. This last order will truly be my last visit to any Whataburger. Between the inedible fries and stale nasty bun on my cold burger I have had enough. Money is tight and places like this charge a premium for subpar garbage. You know who never serves food like this? In N Out and that is where I will spend my money from now on. Hot fresh burgers with amazing service. I do not know what has happened to Whataburger but they have become just like the others complacent and they do not care and it shows. Just read these reviews! Not any replies for corporate or a manager or anything… they do not care! I mean not even a cut and paste generic response… just silence. Whataburger is a complete joke. I am going to laugh when you have to start closing stores.
