  This place used to be a decent bbq spot, but on our most recent visit we ordered 1lb of fatty brisket which is normally good. I've never seen this much unrendered fat on a brisket before. And before the "you ordered fatty" people come in, yes we wanted rendered, soft fatty pieces, not this incredible hard fat. It wasn't trimmed properly prior to smoking and this was just a portion of the fat we had to pick off. We won't be gambling on a $100 meal here again 😞

  Decent BBQ place. I think there are some better places, but this one is fine for a quick meal with the family.

  Did a group order for 10+ they did a phenomenal job. The food was warm, fresh and plenty of it. Group Meals include a choice of 3 meats, 3 sides, sliced pickles, onions, jalapeños, Rudy's "Sause", fresh bread, plates, plastic cutlery, napkins, tea, ice, cups, tablecloth, and serving utensils. My team was very happy with the brisket and pulled pork. I would definitely recommend them for a group order. They were also extremely busy but handled their business 👏

  Went in and placed a large to-go order. The sides were decent, and the young lady at the register was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the meats were a major disappointment. The “moist” brisket was actually drier and tougher than beef jerky. The ribs required a lot of work to eat and were also on the dry side. The turkey and sausage were just mediocre and didn’t stand out. What surprised me most was that the person slicing the meat still chose to serve it. It was obvious the quality wasn’t where it should have been, especially for barbecue. I expected much better, particularly given the reputation. Hopefully this was just an off day, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t order the brisket again.

  I visited this restaurant today and ordered the brisket and banana pudding. The brisket was excellent, very flavorful, tender, and exactly what I was hoping for. It was easily the highlight of the meal and something I would definitely come back for. Unfortunately, the banana pudding was very disappointing. It was heavily dominated by whipped cream, so much that it overwhelmed the actual dessert. There was only a small amount of banana flavor and very little balance between the ingredients. Instead of tasting like traditional banana pudding, it mostly tasted like whipped cream with minimal banana and wafer presence. Overall, I would return for the brisket, but I would skip the banana pudding next time or hope it’s made with a better balance of ingredients.
