We went to Miel de Agave on Friday night before heading to a comedy show, and we were seriously blown away! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance, customer service, and drinks were amazing.
I'm a HUGE mezcal lover, and they had a great assortment of mezcals and tequilas to choose from. If that's your thing, you will definitely appreciate their drink menu!
Since we were heading to a show afterward, we didn't want to get too full, so we decided to share a few appetizers instead of ordering full entrées. The portions were surprisingly generous! We tried the chicharrón with guacamole, ahi tuna tostadas, and the Aguachile ribeye. Everything was delicious, but the ribeye was definitely a favorite. We're already fans of it from their sister restaurant, Blu Seafood, so we knew we had to order it here. Just keep in mind that at Agave it's served as an appetizer, so the portion is smaller but absolutely worth it!
And of course, we couldn't leave without dessert. We finished with their tres leches cake, and OMG... absolutely amazing. The perfect ending to the night!
A special shoutout to our waitress, Jazmyn. She gave us incredible service, was so kind, attentive, and really knowledgeable about the menu. She made an already great experience even better.
Great atmosphere, amazing drinks, delicious food, and outstanding service. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Ana did an outstanding job as our server yesterday afternoon. A friend of mine from the Navy for over 40 years passed away and I was reconnecting with his daughter who I had not seen since she was 2. Ana gave us space and time serving us and was respectful of the situation, as I informed we might need some time. She just an incredible job explaining different dishes (neither of us had ever eaten at your establishment), put the appetizers in while we took forever to decide on the entrees, kept the water and beer glasses full and did an amazing job. I wanted let a manager know before I left, but one was not available. Food was outstanding and we both appreciated the decor in the restaurant. The bathroom door didn't lock for me, but it may have been operator error on my part,as Ana locked it fine. Great restaurant, food and particularly the service provided. You are lucky to have that young lady representing you. Once again Ana was outstanding. Both of us were impressed and we both tipped her. In this day and age, as a manager for Amazon, I can tell you it is hard to find employees of her caliber. Thanks for a great dining experience and catering to a sensitive reunion. 5 Stars!

We went to the Scottsdale location for dinner and had such an amazing experience that we couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. So, when we were in Chandler, we decided to stop by that location for lunch.
Unfortunately, the experience was completely different. My enchiladas came out barely warm. I let our server know, and they brought me out a new plate, but unfortunately, the enchiladas were still barely warm. At that point, I just ate them because I didn’t want to keep sending my food back.
About 20 minutes later, after we had already finished eating, they brought out another plate that was actually steaming hot — but by then, it was too late.
What was most disappointing was that they didn’t offer to take the meal off the bill or really make the situation right. We were told they were giving us a 50% discount, but when we looked at the bill, it was only 15%.
The food is honestly good, which makes this even more disappointing. After having such a great experience at the Scottsdale location, we expected the same from Chandler. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled left a bad taste in our mouths, and I don’t think we’ll be back.

Nothing is worth the prices charged here. If you're taking people to impress them don't. The food was fair but prices for a couple tablespoons of food crazy. 8.00 for a little 1/16th of a cup of blended tomato juice served as salsa. 18 for a appetizer of guacamole and over done chips that weren't even warm. Then add paying 8.00 for a shot glass of salsa. The beans and rice are also served in little pottery shot glasses. Your fork just fits in but try scooping out you need a teaspoon. Service was lacking with a waitress who disappeared that made me get up 3 separate time's to ask for things. My plate for quesobirra 🌮 (3) tacos had 2 slivers of lime, no cilantro or microgreens. They were not encased in cheese. One had nada the other 2 cheese inside not cooked on the outside of the tortilla. They were swimming in grease. I had to ask for napkins which the waitress with her love, baby and sweetie provided a stack of black bar napkins to soak up grease. The flavor was great and meat generous but definitely not upscale.
My daughter wasn't given a choice of meat on green chili sour cream enchiladas it was generous with boiled chicken breast. 2 enchiladas with sauce covering. 28.00. Served with 2 ceramic shot glasses one with beans the other rice. See the above on how little and unable to eat. You could count the beans 12 with broth and a pinch of cheese, none of the toppings other then a pinch of queso cheese was top of enchiladas. The greeter at the door was put out that we wouldn't sit at the bar. My daughter was in a special surgical shoe for her foot that expands past the toes and I just had shoulder joint replacement I can't try to hike myself into a bar stool. So once explained to her our reason she says I'm supposed to make sure the people working the bar make tips and money. Then with a sigh she said let me see what I can find we do have reservations. 2nd strike was not buying drinks. That should have been my first clue to what it would be like by the second I should have left. I've never been in a restaurant that serves guacamole without salsa then charges 8 for a shot glass size of watered down salsa so it's 26 for guacamole and chips., crazy over charged
While the food had good flavor, poor service, too many sighs of impatient and we want high spenders only. My bill and tip were 90.00 for lunch. We deserve better as we were judged when we walked in the door. Everything was an inconvenience.
Nothing was worth taking photos of.

I came to this restaurant August the 2nd. To have dinner with my significant other. We did get a table right away. The employees aren't careful and or polite at all. Our little light from our table wasn't working. There was waiters giving good working lights to other tables next to us yet they saw ours wasn't working but they didn't change it until my partner asked for it. We got our first drinks pretty quick. We got our food at a decent time. The food was good. Afrer that our waiter didn't check up on us or anyone else did. Our waiter was walking by us checking on other tables. Once again my partner had to call the waiter to our table and ask him to refill our drinks, please. He asked at the time we had started eating. We didn't get our refill until almost the end of our food by another waiter. We did noticed that this only happened to us. My partner is an African American man and I am Mexican. Everyone else dinning were Mexican and getting pretty good service. We did think that maybe it was different for us due to my partner being a black man. I did use the restroom and I do have to say that it was clean and the restaurant looked clean. Due to the service/waiters this would be our 1st time and last time coming here.
