Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
It could not have been better. Just me and the burger plus the frys with the spicy ketchup.

I was really looking forward to a Whataburger. I have memories of how delightful Whataburger once was, unfortunately whatever's level of acceptable isn't what made this chain great.
Gone are the days of fast food burger success, replaced by a haphazard lazy failure in producing a product that I'd happily look forward to eating.
The task at hand wasn't to produce a overpriced underperforming failure in record time, it was to produce a burger masterpiece that met my standards and surpassed your own.
Cold fries, under cooked onion rings, lettuce on a burger that was clearly requested as shown on the receipt to be handmade without lettuce.
Truly sad that mediocre Whataburger deliberately embraces failure and staff indifference as a core value. Zero problem with my payment yet you proudly served a compromised failed product in return.
Hardly worth supporting Whataburger under such conditions.
Zero plans to return.

When craving a good hamburger 🍔, this is the place to go. The only down full is that there Texas toast bread became a regular small slice of toast.

Stop in here for some lunch as we were meeting family, great service and food was hot and fresh.
