  Excellent find in Camp Verde! Lovely menu, beautifully presented food, fresh ingredients, all made to order, nicely appointed and clean dining area, beautiful decor, friendly, professional and exceptionally welcoming owner and wait staff, relaxing atmosphere with background music, just perfect! By far the best borscht, hummus and falafel plate and chicken fettucine alfredo we have EVER had!! Well worth the drive. Please support this lovely local business. You will not be disappointed.

  When my chicken dish came out, the chicken was completely raw. We quietly told the waitress (Who was super fantastic, by the way) And she apologized profusely. Several minutes later she came back with the cook (And owner, I'm presuming) Never once did the cook apologize to me. She just kept making excuses for the raw chicken. Then she suggested another dish and I accepted the offer. About 10 minutes later the waitress brings my dish out to me and the mashed potatoes on the plate were the same ones from the raw chicken plate that they took away, just warmed up in the microwave. The chicken schnitzel that she recommended was nothing but an over fried piece of chicken that had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. I was never comped any money for it, nor did they even give me anything extra. They just threw three brussels sprouts on the plate warmed up my mashed potatoes and gave me an over cooked piece of chicken. I didn't even finish it. The waitress was willing to take the meal off of my bill. When I paid, they didn't even have change to give me from my hundred dollar bill, and had to ask somebody that was sitting at the bar for a $20 bill so they could fulfill giving me my change. Then the cook came out of the kitchen and asked me what was wrong with my meal. I stated the chicken had absolutely no flavor and it was way overcooked. She snubbed her nose up in the air turned around and walked back into the kitchen. I will never darken the doorstep at this restaurant ever again. And I would suggest others stay far away. The waitress was fantastic and should look for a job at another restaurant because she's too good for this one

  We ordered takeout and it was the best, most home-cooked tasting meal either of us had gotten from a restaurant in ages. We also ordered near the end of service hours and the wonderful people at Astoria were accommodating despite our late order. Definitely a new favorite!

  We just had the most amazing meal! This place is truly an oasis in the desert! Regardless of what you’re in the mood for, you’ll find something for everyone here! Can’t wait to stop when we are passing back through town!
