  Chipotle used to be my go to place, now I won't go back probably ever. I don't know if they have 'fake chicken' now but ewwww. I got a chicken and steak bowl yesterday and I had to spit out 90% of my bites because the chicken was soooo rubbery I couldn't even chew it. Gross. Check your quality control Chipotle!

  The portioning at this location is a joke. Paid $27 for 2 bowls. They barely put any rice, beans and meat but filled the rest of bowl with lettuce to make it look like a lot. Not very friendly. Didn’t greet me as I walked up to the counter. I had to initiate the start of my order whilst the employees talked among themselves. Just not worth the money for what you get for me. Won’t be coming back

  the portion sizes are terrible, and the employees are rude. the woman that took my order gave me attitude for no reason and slammed my sides down on the counter. she also didn’t acknowledge me when i asked questions. my order wasn’t even made correctly due to her not listening. i work in customer service myself, so i understand we all have our days. however, i received unnecessary attitude from the moment she started taking my order.

  My girlfriend and I placed our first online order at the Verado, Arizona Chipotle specifically to take advantage of the advertised “free chips and guacamole” promotion for new online customers. The promotion was not applied at checkout. Upon arrival, we politely explained the situation to the employee who identified herself as the manager, Erica. Rather than attempting to resolve the issue, Erica told us — with zero introduction, explanation, or context — to “ask Pepper.” She offered no further details about who or what Pepper is, how to contact it, or why this was her proposed solution. For all we knew, she was referring to some random AI chatbot. This was her entire response to a simple customer service request. As a multi-billion-dollar corporation, Chipotle should be capable of basic empowerment: hand the customer the $5 side of chips and guacamole, make a note for the shift manager or corporate to reconcile later, and turn a frustrated first-time visitor into a satisfied one. Instead, we were met with blank stares, zero initiative, and an absurd deflection to an unexplained AI system called “Pepper.” This experience perfectly illustrates everything wrong with corporate customer service today. Employees are not trained or empowered to make obvious, low-cost decisions that protect the brand and customer loyalty. The entire interaction was bewildering and insulting. We will not be returning to this location or any Chipotle in the future. This was a self-inflicted failure on an easy win.
