- JHJasmine HernandezAug 7, 20261.0Honestly, I find this policy (no high school student can be inside and must eat their food outside the restaurant) extremely disappointing. It is 111°F outside, and these are high school students who are simply trying to stay somewhere cool and safe while waiting for their parents to pick them up. They want to eat, sit down, and spend some time with their friends—not cause problems. Having someone stand at the door and tell them they cannot come inside, and that any food they purchase has to be to-go, is unnecessary and honestly pretty upsetting. If a student is behaving disrespectfully or causing problems, deal with that individual. But turning away every high school student, especially in this extreme heat, is not the right way to handle it. These kids deserve a safe, cool place to wait for their parents. I really hope McDonald’s reconsiders this policy.
