- JJJohn JonesSep 10, 20263.0I stop at this store about once a month and find it a clean, normally well stocked, grocery store pleasant to shop at with normally outstandingly friendly employees who will go out of their way to help their customers... NORMALY. untill today. I wanted some fresh calf liver and I know most stores only have FROZEN liver. SOo, I started calling grocery store meat departments where I knew "some" meat is fresh. I Finally, I reached te meat department here. A groggy and lazy sounding man answered the phone. I asked about fresh liver. He said "yes" that he had some. I asked specifically if had FRESH liver; to which he replied "Let me go check." Returning a couple minutes later saying "Yes, I have some." I immediately drove to the store to buy the liver only to be informed by the man tending the meat counter; that they ONLY CARY FROZEN liver and never have fresh liver. This was very agrivating. When I went to check out, all the self checkout registers were full and customers were lined out on the sales floor. I had not been able to get a needed handicap scooter.. .. as both were in use already. Standing is painful and I have some vision problems. I request checkout assistance and was told to wait a moment at register 5. A few minutes later a register operator came. I politely informed her of my happenstance, which she appeared to honestly be uninterest in. This was so agrivating. Except for today's visit, I would have rated this store a 4/5. But the unprofessional phone respons, being lied to, lack of open checkouts, lack of "manned" checkouts for the handicapped, and lack of customer concern easily dropped my satisfaction a full star and maybe even two stars. Sign me frustrated. Will I come here again?? Mybe in a few months. I was very disappointed in this visit though.🤨
