  I had a very good experience in this restaurant. Food was fairly good and pricing was a little over what I thought. But everything aligned in to a very good experience because of the great service Malina B. provided. The manager Donovan is very nice too. Excellent service!

  Good food, clean setting, good service. Very overpriced imo. For 2 eggs, 2 pieces of ham, small bowl of plain grits and 1 hot coffee, I paid over $25.

  This place is amazing. Try the southern fried Benedict for something savory or the American waffle topped with blueberries and strawberries. I’m a food snob and this is the best waffle I’ve ever had.

  The food was amazing… when we finally got it. Unfortunately, getting it was apparently the restaurant’s version of a long-term commitment. We were seated within about 5 minutes, so things started off promising. Then came the 50+ minute wait for our food. On Labor Day, you’d think a restaurant might anticipate being busy and staff accordingly. Our waitress came by once, took our order and brought our drinks. After that, she apparently entered witness protection. We never saw her again. A different server eventually brought our food, which looked like it had spent a considerable amount of time getting acquainted with the heat lamp. Not one refill. Not one check-in. Not a “how is everything?” Nothing. The best part? There were maybe 4–5 tables occupied, with three servers working them. So “we’re understaffed” doesn’t really explain much. This officially takes the top spot for the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. We never even received our ticket. I eventually looked up the prices online, calculated what we owed, and left cash. It should have left us with a few dollars for a tip, which honestly felt far too generous for the level of service we received. The food really was good, which makes the whole experience even more frustrating. Won’t be back. There are plenty of places willing to take my money without making me wait an hour and then pretending I don’t exist.
