Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JVJay VeeAug 28, 20265.0Honestly, I stopped going to this franchise because of the long wait times to get an order. I heard that they had become very fast in fulfilling orders. I tried them again....these guys are FAST now and just as good. I've tried several times and each time I can quickly pay and get my food now; it's a 180 degree turn around, that has been consistent and I highly recommend this location.

The guy at the front register kept running in and out of the kitchen not greeting customers after about 15 minutes of waiting I asked him if he could take my order and was told no. He was the only one working up front. Incident happened 8/14/28 around 5 ish pm. He just flat out told us no he would not take our order so we left. She still has not gotten to try the restaurant we settled for McDonald's across the street. The food isn't as good but at least they took our order. Very disappointed.

Even though they where busy we was checked on multiple times through out our visit. The manager I think his name was Chris came to personally check and make sure we was happy with the quality of our food. As well as passing out necklace to the children.I've got to say this was probably the best experience I've ever had at a Whataburger. Will definitely be returning next Sunday.
