Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Once I ordered a double whataburger , plain, dry and add cheese. It was covered in so much mustard that the bun was soggy, and had every vegetable you can think of on it and NO cheese. Today I ordered a chicken sandwich with cheese and pickles only and a whataburger jr with cheese and ketchup only. After waiting over 10 mins for them to cook the chicken, they finally bring it out and I luckily catch that they didn’t put my sons jr cheeseburger in the bag, they go get the burger and it was ice cold. I get home and my chicken sandwich is covered in some nasty mayo sauce, lettuce and tomatoes with NO CHEESE OR PICKLES. This place is way too expensive to continually be okay with getting the orders wrong. I’ve eaten whataburger all over Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas and this one is by far the worst. Don’t waste your money.

This is the worst one in any State I have ever eaten at. If I was the franchise owner I would go to Church this coming Sunday and ask God to forgive me for my sins. HORRIFIC food. I literally felt sick all day. Sad part is the place was super clean so I was thinking I was about to get served amazing food. Would have been a place I eat at 2-3X a week but I would not step back in here for free food. seriously.
