  I had a nostalgic and fun experience at Sonic Drive-In because it is the ultimate "time capsule" of American fast-food culture. Since its start as a small root beer stand in 1953, Sonic has become iconic for its carhop service—where your food is often delivered by carhops on roller skates—and its massive menu of customizable drinks. I really loved the "Ultimate Drink Stop" experience, where you can create thousands of unique flavor combinations using their famous pellet ice (also known as "nugget ice" or "the good ice").

  The sonic right across from Apache Casino everyone is so wonderful to me I think it is the best Sonic in Lawton!

  I stopped by on a road trip for a quick bite and tried to order the advertised All American Smasher meal ($6+tax) with a Coke Zero at the drive thru. Clerk quoted 9.36. Obviously something went wrong with the communication. I spoke up to correct, but no response from the clerk. I drove up to window and showed the advertisement on my phone even. The clerk said I ordered just the burger and drink. It should be a simple fix - update the order/price and add the side. Side did get added - very oily fries, but no price change. Good reminder for shakes/drinks only at Sonics. Also, they didn't provide the receipt, so only realized after checking statement.
