  Around 9:00 p.m., I went to the Chipotle on University to purchase two bowls. Both the white and brown rice were down to the very bottom of the containers, so I politely asked if I could have fresh rice. The female employee assisting me seemed a little annoyed by my request, but I overlooked it and allowed her to continue preparing our food. She went to the back to get fresh rice, and a gentleman also assisted her. After she placed the chicken on top of the rice, I noticed that she used her gloved hand to spread the chicken across the bowl rather than simply distributing it with the serving utensil. That immediately stood out to me and made me uncomfortable. At another point, she had to go to the back to get an additional ingredient and, while still wearing the same gloves, began patting and touching the top of her cap before returning to continue making my food. That was extremely unsanitary and should not have happened. Once I got home, my son and I began eating our bowls, and both had an overwhelmingly strong taste of plain table salt throughout the food. I have eaten at Chipotle many times, including this location, and I have never experienced anything like this. The rice has never tasted noticeably salty to me before, and this did not taste like food that was simply over-seasoned. It genuinely tasted as though raw salt had somehow gotten into both bowls. The taste was so strong that we could not eat the food, and I ended up throwing both bowls away and wasting my money. I do not think it is unreasonable for a paying customer to request fresh rice when what is available is sitting at the very bottom of the container. Combined with the unsanitary handling of my food and the extremely unusual taste of table salt both bowls afterward, the entire experience left me very uncomfortable and disappointed. I should have followed my first instinct and eaten at home. I will not be returning to this location. I still enjoy Chipotle occasionally, but another location will be getting my business from now on.

  Impossible trying to tell the store they served me plastic cuz i kept getting routed to an AI agent and a customer call center person detached from the store. Terrible product, terrible communication, will never be coming back to this location or any Chipotle if this is how you conduct business.

  Answering the phone could’ve avoided this review. I don’t wanna talk to a computer. The portion shown in the images and the portion I received are totally different. I paid nearly 7 dollars for a tiny cup of queso. The tiny cup wasn’t even full. I am almost positive This isn’t even the cup You are supposed to be putting it in. Theives.

  I've never had any issues at this Chipotle. When I order online my food is always ready when I get there and the staff is quick with handing my order to me. I also used to doordash and let me tell you this Chipotle is WAY cleaner and faster than the one on McCain, I will never go to that one again.

  Ordered a steak burrito and had it delivered through DoorDash. There was literally no meat in my burrito. Totally regret ordering.
