Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Food has been wrong half the time we order. Kept giving them more chances to see if it got better after they have been open for a few months, and no, it's still slow, food is wrong or raw. The workers act like they don't care.

My wife got a chicken sandwich that was undercooked, which I don’t know how they didn’t notice because they cut the thing in half to check. I got a sweet and spicy bbq cheeseburger which was lackluster at best, with wimpy soggy bacon, and to boot all of the fries were undercooked, limp, and tasted like raw potatoes. I don’t know what has happened in there, but every other time I have been it has been standard delicious Whataburger. Today on the other hand, was extremely disappointing. On the bright side, the ice in our drinks was cold.

Even though some of the more incompetent employees were not the best, Jackson picked up the slack of the store and provided excellent service for every customer including myself.
