Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- ERElizabeth RoyalAug 22, 20261.0Would not recommend this place to anybody went in there to have Dinner and the person that took my money and the people behind mes money and started going over and making our food without changing his gloves when I said something to the manager, she said it’s fine. That’s the protocol as long as there’s gloves on I said absolutely not. that’s disgusting. I said I want my money back. She said no makes him use a Lysol wipe to wipe the gloves off then went back to packaging people’s food. It wasn’t until I asked to speak to someone higher up that I was giving my money back would definitely not recommend this place to anybody. It is one giant health code violation

What restaurant in 2026 doesn't have a changing station? Now for the food, there is a reason this parking lot is empty. I ordered my burger with cheese, they forgot the cheese-ok fine. But the bread ( that is twice the size of the meat patty) was super stale. Not edible, so then, the fries. The fries were so salty none of us could actually eat them. So I just paid $40 for a meal I can't even eat. I ate at countless Whataburgers on the coast my entire life and had never gotten served the absolute slop I experienced today.
