Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
This location is always super busy, and because of that it's almost always super slow. If you go here be prepared to wait a bit longer than other options, but also the food is so good I feel it's worth it then you have the time.

Rather disappointed normally a good eats but evidently they are off their game 🤷♂️😭sad came through drive thru food was cold, disgusting biscuits and gravy biscuits was extremely dry! Seems like an old biscuits. Does the health department ever come by?

I’ve been here 3 times in the last few months specifically for a shake and I get a burger for my husband and EVERY SINGLE TIME they say their shake machine is broken. I’m starting to wonder if it’s actually broken or if they just don’t want to put forth the effort to make one. Every time they say no I won’t order the burger either. I go a little further down to Braums every time because I don’t want to wait in two lines and spend money at two different places. It’s frustrating and I’m pretty much done with trying to get food here.

I have am writing this from the drive through in which i have been waiting for 45 minutes. Do not waste your time coming here. You will be here for so long and they will still get your order wrong. Whoever owns this place needs to hire more staff. The people inside are clearly working hard but are unable to keep up with the demand.

I have been here three times in the late evening. all three times were slow. i ordered thru the app two of the three times and both times it would have been much faster to just have ordered in the drive thru. Also, two of three times my order was wrong. This last time took the cake. waited thirty minutes for cold food.
